LAKE SEBU

Lake Sebu is a natural lake located in the municipality of LakeSebu, South Cotabato and within the Alah Valley region. The Philippine goverment has recognized it as one of the country's most important watersheds. Lake Sebu is one of the many bodies of water supplying important irrigation to the provinces of Sultan Kudarat and South Cotabato. 


Lake Sebu is dappled with pristine falls, called The Seven Falls. These falls have T'boli names;Falls 1 is was named Hikung Alu (passage falls), Falls 2 named Hikong Bente (immeasurable falls), Falls 3 is Hikong B'lebed (coil or zigzag falls), Falls 4 is Hikong Lowig (booth), Falls 5 was named and baptized  as Hikong Kefo-i (wild flower), Falls 6 is Hikong Ukol (short falls) and lastly Falls 7 was known as Hikong Tonok (soil). These Falls was surrounded by forest clad mountains, but a surreal way to see it by riding the Lake Sebu Seven Falls ziplines.
